The broken lines in the handle of the latch correspond to radius lines at changes in radius between adjacent defined surface segments of the handle of the latch. The boundary (dash-dot-dash) line showing (e.g., in FIGS. 1 , 7 , and 9 - 12 ) delineates the unclaimed region of the latch from the claimed region of the latch.
