The portable ultrasound medical device is adjustable between the opened configuration shown in FIGS. 1 - 8 and the closed configuration shown in FIGS. 9 - 10 . The control features of the portable ultrasound medical device are accessed in the opened configuration and the portable ultrasound medical device is securely transported in the closed configuration.
