The shading on the key array represents the color black or color contrast.

In FIGS. 1 - 6 , the plurality of circles to the left and right of the keyboard are shown in broken lines.

The dot-dash broken lines show an area of enlargement.

The white wire-frame lines on the keys are provided with the sole purpose of clearly defining and describing the character of the dark surfaces, and do not depict the color white or surface ornamentation.
