A new and original design for a floor stand for a light therapy device comprises a base with a top side having a mounting recess positioned centrally thereon, a pair of first planar surfaces extending outward therefrom and a pair of second planar surfaces extending at an angle with the first planar surfaces, wherein the base is coupled to a generally upright first mounting channel proximate to a left end of the mounting recess and a generally upright second mounting channel proximate to a right end of the mounting recess.
